Unione di Banche Italiane S.p.A. (BIT:UBI) is expected to strike a deal to acquire Nuova Banca delle Marche S.p.A., Banca Popolare dell'Etruria e del Lazio - Società Cooperativa and Nuova Cassa di Risparmio di Chieti S.p.A in the week of January 9, 2017, insiders told Reuters. Unione di Banche Italiane SpA is expected to strike a deal in the week of January 9, 2017, to buy Banca Popolare dell'Etruria e del Lazio - Società Cooperativa, Asset Management Arm, Banca Delle Marche Gestione Internazionale Lux S.A. and Nuova CariChieti SpA, "two sources close to the matter" told Reuters.
