U-Best Polymer Industry Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2018. For the full year, the company announced sales was TWD 550.667 million compared to TWD 540.847 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 27.878 million compared to operating Income of TWD 422,000 a year ago. Net income was TWD 88.839 million compared to net loss of TWD 7.851 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.98 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.1 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.91 compared to diluted loss per share of TWD 0.1 a year ago.

The Company is primarily engaged in the production of polyurethane (PU) resins, PU adhesives, nylon resins and polyester polyol. The products are mainly used in the manufacture of PU synthetic leather and artificial leather for footwear, purses and garments, the molding of nylon, the bonding of various fibers, as well as the manufacture of waterproof nylon fabrics for raincoats, suitcases and tents. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets.
