PROGRESS UPDATE ON LITIGATION

IN RELATION TO ALLEGED PATENT INFRINGEMENT

This announcement is made by Truly International Holdings Limited (the ''Company'') pursuant to Rule

13.09 of The Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and the Inside Information Provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

The Company refers to its previous announcements made on 20 November 2018 and 13 December 2018 in relation to in aggregate of 3 civil complaints on patent infringement initiated by Shenzhen Goodix Technology Co. Ltd. (深圳市匯頂科技股份有限公司) (the ''Claimant'') against the Company's non- wholly owned subsidiary Truly Opto-Electronics Limited (信利光電股份有限公司) (''Truly Shanwei''). All capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meanings set forth in the aforesaid announcement.

In relation to the Civil Complaint in the announcement of the Company dated 20 November 2018, the Company has received the notice from the relevant court with the court decision of the Civil Complaint being turned down. Truly Shanwei need not pay any compensation.

In addition, in relation to the Civil Complaints in the announcement of the Company dated 13 December 2018, the Company has been recently informed by the representative lawyer of Truly Shanwei that the Patent Review Board of the State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China has made a declaration for the Claimant's relevant patents in these Civil Complaints being invalid. Therefore, Truly Shanwei has instructed its representative lawyer to submit the application letter for turning down the Claimant's civil complaints.

The Company will, in accordance with the applicable laws, make every effort to protect its interests and its shareholders' interests, and will keep the shareholders of the Company informed of any material progress on the Civil Complaint by way of further announcement(s) as and when appropriate.

Shareholders and potential investors of the Company should exercise caution when dealing in the shares of the Company.
