JapanTaxi Co.,Ltd. announced a private placement of 80,000 class C preferred shares at an issue price of ¥157,500 per share for gross proceeds of ¥12,600,000,000 on July 13, 2020. The transaction will involve participation from existing investor, NTT Docomo Ventures, Inc. for ¥10,000,000,000 for 63,492 shares, Dentsu Innovation Partners Inc., and Tokyo Century Corporation (TSE:8439) for aggregate ¥2,600,000,000. Post-closing of the transaction, NTT Docomo Ventures, Inc. will hold 13.06% stake in the company. The company may further receive ¥10,000,000,000 from NTT Docomo Ventures, Inc. in the transaction if it exercises its capital call.
