Toho Holdings Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the first quarter of fiscal 2013. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 277,545 million compared to JPY 265,548 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 2,893 million compared to JPY 1,744 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 3,830 million compared to JPY 2,905 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 2,411 million compared to JPY 1,944 million a year ago.
The company provided earnings guidance for the first half of fiscal 2013. For the period, the company expects net sales of JPY 556,000 million, operating income of JPY 7,100 million, ordinary income of JPY 8,500 million and net income of JPY 4,900 million.
