Toagosei Joins the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's GX League
Toagosei Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that we have joined the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's GX League which is aiming to transform the socio-economic system toward carbon neutrality.
The GX League was established as a forum where a group of companies proactively working on green transformation (GX) and the government, universities and financial institutions can come together as one to hold discussions to transform the entire socioeconomic system and to put those ideas into practice to create new markets.
Our group is aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050 based on our Sustainability Policy. Our efforts toward that aim include operating a hydrogen station in Tokushima Prefecture, considering the utilization of steam in Yokohama's waste incineration plants, introducing renewable energies and developing biomass products which will contribute to measures against climate change. These activities are in line with the purpose of the GX League. Accordingly, following on from our endorsement of the GX League Basic Concept in 2022, we have officially joined this league.
Our group will continue to contribute to the development of a sustainable society by proactively working on climate change problems caused by global warming in the future.
