Toachi Mining Inc. announced results from on-going drilling at its La Plata gold-rich volcanogenic massive sulphide ("VMS") project in Ecuador. Hole CMLP-17-38 intersected 3.58 metres (m) of massive and disseminated sulphide mineralization grading 2.38 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, 93.3 g/t silver, 15.92% copper, 2.31% zinc and 0.16% lead from 119.3 m in the La Mina North zone of the La Mina deposit. The gold equivalent grade (AuEq) is 29.25 g/t. This core interval was within a wider intersection of 13.7 m grading 1.49 g/t gold, 30.55 g/t silver, 5.63% copper, 1.32% zinc and 0.11% lead from 119.3 m. The AuEq grade is 11.35 g/t. Hole CMLP-16-18 intersected 7.34 m grading 3.43 g gold, 21.0 g silver, 1.34% copper, 3.9% zinc and 0.47% lead from 71.34 m. The AuEq grade is 8.82 g/t.
