Tietto Minerals Limited reported new shallow highgrade results from diamond drilling, which demonstrate a wide gold mineralised system at the AbujarPischonGolikro (APG) deposit, part of its Abujar Gold Project, in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa. AbujarPischonGolikro (APG) 11.2Mt at 1.0 g/t Au (0.35Moz) is located approximately 7km to the south of the AbujarGludehi (AG) deposit that has a highgrade core of 19.3Mt @ 2.2g/t Au (1.38Moz gold) within the 2.2Moz Abujar Gold Project. Tietto is undertaking a 50,000 metre drill program using 4 Company owned drill rigs to drive rapid growth of its gold inventory. Tietto announced that it has defined an Exploration Target of 9Mt to 23Mt at a grade ranging between 0.8 g/t to 1.1 g/t gold which represents three areas of over 1.5 km of combined strike length lying undrilled within the 5km strike that hosts the APG Mineral Resource. The APG Inferred JORC Mineral Resource of 11.2Mt at 1.0 g/t Au (0.35Moz) is exclusive of the Exploration Target. The potential quantity and grade of the Exploration Target is conceptual in nature and therefore is an approximation. There has been insufficient exploration to estimate a Mineral Resource and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the estimation of a Mineral Resource. The Exploration Target has been prepared and reported in accordance with the 2012 edition of the JORC Code. The Exploration Target is based on the current geological understanding of the mineralisation geometry, subsurface geochemistry and regional geology. This is provided by the Company's exploration drillhole database which consists of 140 holes for 11,801 metres. There are 70 aircore holes (3,025m), 38 reverse circulation holes (2,804) and 32 diamond holes (5,972m). An Inferred JORC Mineral Resource was estimated at APG on 9 April 2019. The Exploration Target, being conceptual in nature, takes no account of geological complexity, possible mining method or metallurgical recovery factors. The Exploration Target was estimated in order to provide an assessment of the potential scale of the ongoing exploration at APG. The Company intends to test the Exploration Target with drilling and this is expected to extend over approximately 6 months. Exploration drilling at APG has commenced and is expected to comprise over 12,000m of diamond drilling.
