Thye Ming Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,866.052 million compared to TWD 2,464.551 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 19.517 million compared to TWD 110.267 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 47.847 million compared to TWD 110.233 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.23 compared to TWD 0.53 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 4,075.277 million compared to TWD 4,581.775 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 27.968 million compared to TWD 209.958 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 9.415 million compared to net income of TWD 221.996 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.05 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 1.06 a year ago.
Thye Ming Industrial Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacturing, processing and trading of lead alloys and lead ingots. The Company provides lead alloys, soft leads, lead oxide yellow, lead oxide red and others. The lead alloy products mainly include lead-antimony alloys which are applied in storage batteries, cable leads and others, as well as lead-calcium alloys which are applied in non condensing lead-calcium batteries. The lead oxide yellow and lead oxide red are applied in kinescopes, lead glasses, paints, crystals, optical glasses, storage batteries and others. In addition, the Company provides waste disposing services. The Company distributes its products in the domestic market and to overseas markets, including Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand and other markets.
