Thule : The Nomination Committee for Thule Group AB intends to propose Bengt Baron as new chairman of the board in connection with the AGM 2018

The Nomination Committee of Thule Group AB intends to, in connection with the the Annual General Meeting in April 2018, propose Bengt Baron to succeed current chairman of the board Stefan Jacobsson, who has declined re-election. Bengt Baron has been a member of the Board of Directors of Thule Group since 2011.
In order for the Nomination Committee to be able to carry out an effective nomination work, the Nomination Committee has decided to present the proposal for chairman of the board that the Nomination Committee intends to propose in connection with the Annual General Meeting on April 25, 2018.
- The chairman of the board plays a key role in how the board will be formed and which candidates that will show interest in the company. In order to effectively be able to discuss with both current and future members of the board, we already now want to be open with the person that the Nomination Committee intends to propose as the chairman of the board, says Anders Oscarsson, Chairman of the Nomination Committee, representing AMF Försäkringar & Fonder.
The Nomination Committee intends to propose Bengt Baron to succeed the current Chairman Stefan Jacobsson. Bengt Baron has been a member of Thule Group's Board since 2011 and has chaired the company's Audit Committee since the Annual General Meeting 2017.
