ASX/Media Release THE REJECT SHOP LIMITED (ASX:TRS) 29 January 2013 UPDATE ON QUEENSLAND FLOODS - NO IMPACT ON IPSWICH DISTRIBUTION CENTRE

The Reject Shop Limited today announced that despite significant flooding in and around the Ipswich area, the Company's Distribution Centre has not been damaged.
Managing Director Chris Bryce said, "Whilst the predicted and actual flood level did not indicate flooding of our site, we believed it was prudent to implement protection measures given the impact on the business of the 2011 floods. We acted decisively to implement our flood mitigation plan over the weekend which predominantly entailed moving inventory and equipment to higher levels within the Distribution Centre and also dispatching picked stock to depots and stores. We also initiated the erection of our new flood barrier system under challenging conditions."
"In addition to the flooding in Ipswich we have had some store closures over the past few days throughout Qld and NSW due to localised flooding but no reported damage to any store at this stage. We have had difficulty delivering stock to some stores due to road and rail closures and expect this to continue over the next week", Mr Bryce said.
