Karl Searl has been promoted to President of Pitco Frialator, overseeing the operations of Middleby fryer brands Pitco, Ultrafryer and Anets, manufactured in Bow, N.H.
In this role, Karl will be responsible for the overall strategic direction and the day-to-day operations of the three fryer brands. He will direct and oversee manufacturing, sales and marketing, engineering and accounting activities.
"Karl has proven himself a strong and respected leader over the past few years, during a very challenging business environment," said Steve Spittle, Middleby Chief Commercial Officer. "His heavy involvement was key in successfully integrating Ultrafryer into the New Hampshire facility. During that transition, his team continued to launch new products, expanding our fryer offerings to meet customer needs. Quickly bringing the latest innovation to market has always been a priority for Karl, and because of that our fryer brands continue to be sought after and highly respected. Under his leadership I am confident Pitco, Ultrafryer and Anets will continue to be the premiere brands in the marketplace."
Prior to being promoted to President, Karl was General Manager of Pitco Frialator. Before being named GM in 2019 he was Vice President of Engineering, working with Middleby customers on their solutions. Before joining Middleby in 2017, Karl was with Laird Technologies. At Laird, Karl served in many leadership roles, the most recent being the Director of Global Engineering, overseeing the research and development of wireless RF solutions at their global sites in the U.S. and southeast Asia.
