Marcus Theatres®, a division of The Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS), today announced that Ann Stadler has been appointed vice president and chief marketing officer (CMO). Additionally, Sonny Gourley has been promoted to senior vice president of the film department and Kim Lueck to vice president and chief information technology officer. All three will report directly to Marcus Theatres President and CEO Rolando B. Rodriguez.

Stadler, a veteran marketing communications strategist, joins Marcus from a six-year tenure as vice president of marketing and communications for United Way of Greater Milwaukee (UWGM). Prior to that, she was a vice president with the second largest independent advertising agency in the United States, managing local and global brands, and an adjunct instructor at Marquette University. In her new role, Stadler will be responsible for creating innovative marketing strategies that will build the Marcus Theatres brand and increase awareness and relevance with its customer base.

"We are pleased that Ann has agreed to join Marcus Theatres in our newly created chief marketing officer role," said Rodriguez. "Ann's marketing expertise will greatly assist Marcus Theatres with our growth strategy going forward."

Gourley joined Marcus Theatres in 2013 as vice president of film buying. In his new role as senior vice president of the film department he will be responsible for executive supervision of the film department including negotiating film product placement, marketing agreements, promotional activity, forecasting and serving as the primary contact for key studio executives.

"Sonny has a robust tenure working with the motion picture industry and vast experience with film placement in a broad based movie circuit like Marcus Theatres," said Rodriguez. "He brings unparalleled industry savvy and strong relationships with our studio partners to his new role."

Kim Lueck, a 17-year veteran of the Marcus Theatres Corporation, has served the company in a variety of information technology positions, most recently as chief information technology officer. In her new role, Lueck will focus on strategic technology direction for the Theatres Division, provide recommendations on leading-edge solutions and advancements to enhance the moviegoing experience, plus manage the corporate financial and HRMS systems.

"Kim's technology prowess provides us the ability to ensure we have information technology platforms in place that are flexible enough and powerful enough to support our long term mission," said Rodriguez.

"All three of these individuals bring tremendous skill and proven industry experience to their new roles with Marcus Theatres," continued Rodriguez. "Their leadership will contribute greatly to the continued growth of the company and elevation of the Marcus Theatres brand."
