Jammu and Kashmir Bank : Families of J&K Bank customers relieved after timely settlement of insurance claims

J&K Bank facilitated the swift settlement of multiple insurance claims worth Rs 60 Lacs under MetLoan & Life Suraksha (MLLS) thereby relieving the affected families of financial burden that would have otherwise been a huge liability for the bereaved.

The Bank's Zonal Head (Budgam) - Saadut Hussain handed over the symbolic cheque to the nominees/legal heirs of many such deceased customers in presence of Bank's Cluster Head (Budgam) Javid Rashid Shah, Zonal Head (Credit-Life) of PNB MetLife Irfan Ali Zargar, Zonal Insurance Coordinator Sajad Ahmad Farooqi, Branch Managers of respective branches and other officials of the Bank and PNB MetLife.

Expressing gratitude to the Bank and its Insurance partner PNB MetLife, claimants described settlement as a big relief for the family during these tough times. "We think we have been fortunate enough to have this insurance policy/cover, the timely settlement of which has relieved us of huge financial burden."

Speaking on the occasion, Zonal Head (Budgam) Saadut Hussain highlighted the need and significance of getting loans insured. He said, "A small but wise and timely decision of our late customers to get their loans covered under various insurance options has really provided their families immense financial relief."

Urging the Bank's borrowers to get their loans covered under suitable insurance schemes, he said, "For the sake of your family's future, it is wise to act today and get your loans insured.'

Zonal Head-Credit Life- PNB MetLife Irfan Ali Zargar also advised the people to get their loans insured. "We cannot compensate the loss of life but at least we can relieve the burden of bereaved family by compensating the earning capacity of the demised family member to a great extent".
