TEK-Ocean Group Limited announced that it has been selected by project leader Subcon Blue Solutions (Subcon) as the Installation Contractor for an artificial Reef Installation Project, which involves the installation of 16 artificial reef structures. The projects aim is to enhance fish biodiversity and fish stocks for local recreational fishers. TEK-Ocean Spirit Upgrade: TEK-Ocean's contribution to the realisation of this community enhancing project is through investment and upgrade of the TEK-Ocean Spirit, with the recently installed 60Te AHC TTS crane, as pictured below. The TEK-Ocean Spirit has been primarily based in Gippsland for the past 6 years, supporting the local offshore energy projects and local employment. This Installation contract for the Point Nepean Project represents a major milestone in the Company's growth and expanded capability offering in the areas of environmental activities which includes decommissioning and rehabilitation of legacy offshore energy assets as well as the future offshore renewables sector in Australia. TEK-Ocean has recently completed the requisite 5-year recertification for the TEK-Ocean Spirit along with the co-incident installation of the 60T offshore crane. The vessel is currently departing Singapore and following certain identified backhauling transport opportunities will on arrival in The Bass Strait immediately commence work assisting its key clients.
