Teche Holding Company is a savings bank offering a variety of financial services to meet the local banking needs of St. Mary, Lafayette, Iberia, St. Martin, Terrebonne, upper Lafourche, East Baton Rouge, St. Landry and Ascension Parishes, Louisiana. The Company operates through Teche Federal Bank (the Bank). The Bank's lending includes one-to-four-family mortgage loans with focus on single family residences in the Bank's primary market area. The Bank invests in residential mortgage-backed securities, including collateralized mortgage obligations (CMO), investment securities and interest-bearing deposits. The Bank invests in residential mortgage-backed securities, including CMO, investment securities and interest-bearing deposits. Deposits are the source of the Bank's funds for lending and other investment purposes. The only subsidiary of the Bank is Teche Federal Bank. In June 2014, IBERIABANK Corp acquired the Company and its subsidiary bank, Teche Federal Bank.
