TATNEFT The Company is successfully using the "Greenhouse Gases" software module to control greenhouse gas emissions.
The Company's strategic goal is to achieve carbon neutrality in 2050. The software product developed by TATNEFT together with KomEco experts ensures the preparation of the data reporting on greenhouse gas emissions.
The implemented system makes it possible to calculate the emissions for all technological processes, generate reports for stakeholders, as well as plan measures to reduce CO2 emissions.
The module is a Scope 1, 2, 3 emission accounting system with access to databases of the Group's enterprises, which eliminates the risk of errors when entering the information.
The calculation provides for taking into account the intensity of production and technological processes, properties of fuels, raw and consumable materials, emission factors characterizing the specific volume of emissions, as well as the potential of global warming.
The system implementation has improved the speed and the preparation quality of consolidated financial statements for the TATNEFT Group.
