The first reconnaissance work was carried out in early summer to prepare for the next stages of exploration. Although the exploration team was forced to rush out of the area due to out-of-control wildfires, the week of fieldwork was sufficient to identify what appear to be numerous metric-sized pegmatites spread across the property.
While Tarku recognizes that not all pegmatites associated with this type of geological environment carry lithium, the Company's recent compilation work shows that the property has been underexplored over the past 30 years, despite its close proximity to
The next phase of exploration work will include mapping and stripping to better identify spodumene pegmatites, with a view to preparing a drilling program on the property as quickly as possible. Access to the property and exploration work, including drilling, is possible throughout the year, making exploration logistically easier. The Company looks forward to advancing its understanding of the lithium potential of the property.
Apollo Project Update,
Following up on its first drilling program, Tarku is working on a NI 43-101 compliant technical report on its 100% owned Apollo project. This report will provide more comprehensive information on the geology of the property and the results of the first drilling program, and will make recommendations for future work. Tarku expects to finalize the report in the coming weeks.
