Taisei Lamick Co., Ltd. (TSE:4994) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 150,000 shares, representing 2.19% of its issued share capital (excluding treasury stock), for ?420 million. The purpose of the program is to carry out agile capital policy in response to changes in the business environment. The program will run until November 19, 2021. As of October 31, 2021, the company had 6,855,526 shares in issue (excluding treasury stock) and 191,974 shares in treasury.
Taisei Lamick Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the development, manufacture and sale of packaging films and liquid filling machines. The Company is engaged in the manufacture and sale of laminated films for packaging instant noodle liquid soups, dressings, sauces, wasabi, soy sauces and other liquids, the manufacture and sale of general laminated products such as pouches for retort food, films for powder and dried products, and pouches for refillable detergents, as well as the development, manufacture and sale of liquid filling machines under the name DANGAN for filling contents into liquid filling films.
