SYGNITY S.A. Warsaw, December 23, 2015 - Over PLN 20 million is the value of the contract concluded between Sygnity and Energa Informatyka i Technologie, a company of the Energa Group. The order covers delivery of Microsoft software with licenses and upgrade rights to Energa.
The Energa Group is one of the four biggest Polish power industry groups. Its core business includes distribution, generation and trade of electricity and heat. The Group is among the three biggest electricity suppliers in Poland. Energa's distribution network spans an area of nearly 75 thousand square kilometers - ca. 24 percent of the territory of Poland.
The contract that was just signed is a proof of Sygnity's competences in Microsoft technologies. Under the collaboration so far the company was providing the Energa Group with, among others, Microsoft licenses and Software Assurance services under Microsoft Enterprise Agreement volume licensing package.
The new contract is a continuation of many years of collaboration between Sygnity and the Energa Group. The projects provided by the company to the Group include the delivery of server infrastructure for the Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) environment that effectively protects Group's business continuity and improves the IT security level. Another important Sygnity's project in progress for the Group is the implementation of an integrated system supporting the process of electricity and gas fuel forecasting. The goal of implementation is to automate the forecasting process. The key element of this solution is the functionality allowing for forecasting our Client's position on the wholesale market.

Since October our order book has expanded with contracts with, among others, ZUS (Social Insurance Institution), ARiMR Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture), Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) and the PKO BP bank. This is very good news for us.
