Sweett Group, the provider of professional services for the construction and management of building and infrastructure projects, is appointed by Royal Holloway, University of London, to provide NEC project management, supervisor and quantity surveying services on its student residences accommodation project.

Situated on Royal Holloway's north campus, the development will include 56 three and four-storey townhouses that will provide accommodation for 8 or 12 students each. Each townhouse will comprise social and study spaces, receptions and laundry facilities. The development will be positioned among mature trees, which will create pleasant green spaces and sheltered paths, connecting residences to the main campus.

Michael Berry, Director of Estates at Royal Holloway said: 'The residences, which form part of a wider estate plan, will provide students with modern rooms and study spaces, shared facilities, and common areas. With more student accommodation, the University will be able to guarantee residential places to more students'.

Sweett Group will work with Willmott Dixon and the wider design team including architects Stride Treglown, to deliver the development which is due to complete in summer 2017, in sufficient time for the start of the academic year.
