STOCKHOLM--Swedbank AB's fund management subsidiary Swedbank Robur on Thursday said that it has agreed to invest 100 million Swedish kronor ($9.5 million) in e-commerce shipping company Instabox.

"With the investment in Instabox, we support an internationally expanding Swedish technology company that is driving more efficient, faster and sustainable deliveries, thanks to a strong concept," Henrik Lundh, head of alternative investments at Swedbank Robur, said.

Instabox delivers more than three million packages a month in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands and Germany. In addition to its founders and staff, Instabox's owners include Creades AB, EQT Ventures, Tham Special Investment and newly invested Verdane Capital Advisors, among others.
