STOCKHOLM--Swedbank AB said Friday that it has named Britta Hjorth-Larsen as its new chief compliance officer, replacing Ingrid Harbo who will retire on March 31 as previously announced.

The Swedish bank said Ms. Hjorth-Larsen has extensive experience from the banking industry and currently serves as head of non-financial risk at Bank of Ireland Group PLC, having previously worked in different positions at Nordea Bank Abp between 1999 and 2020.

She will take up her position at Swedbank on Aug. 1 at the latest.
