SUN&L Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 117,085.98 million compared to KRW 117,084.62 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 4,702.57 million compared to KRW 2,535.67 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 473 compared to KRW 211 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 471 compared to KRW 211 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was KRW 256,638.59 million compared to KRW 224,209.64 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 9,000.17 million compared to KRW 5,318.96 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 746 compared to KRW 212 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 746 compared to KRW 441 a year ago.
Sun&L Co Ltd, formerly Sunchang Corp, is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacturing and sale of wood products. The Company operates its business through three segments. The Wood segment provides products such as plywood, medium-density fiberboards (MDFs), high density fiberboards (HDFs), lumber, particle boards (PBs) and other products. The Furniture segment is engaged in the production of wooden windows, furniture and interiors. The Other segment is involved in real estate leasing, forest development, other plastics manufacturing industries and others. The Company mainly distributes its products within domestic market.
