Sumitomo : Transfers Shares in Sofuku Koki Co., Ltd.

Sumitomo Corporation (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Kuniharu Nakamura; 'Sumitomo') has agreed to transfer its shares in Sofuku Koki Co., Ltd. (Head office: Iga City, Mie Prefecture; President: Hiroaki Yoshioka; 'Sofuku Koki') to ALINCO INCORPORATED (Head office: Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture; President: Katsuhiro Oyama; 'ALINCO'), as the strategic partner of Sofuku Koki, and has signed a share transfer agreement.
Through this transfer and by smoothly advancing the transfer procedures step by step, Sumitomo expects to reinforce its cooperative relationship with ALINCO, as well as to achieve further business development and improvement of the corporate value of Sofuku Koki.
