STX Corp. announced that it has appointed two lead managers to sell a controlling stake in STX Pan Ocean Co., Ltd. STX Pan Ocean said in a filing on the Singapore Exchange, "Two lead managers were chosen for the sale. However, the details on this matter have not been confirmed yet." STX Pan called a short trading halt shortly after midday to make the announcement and trading started several minutes later.
STX Pan closed five cents up to SGD 5.94.
