Investor group led by Greenbelt Capital Management L.P. in partnership with funds managed by Schroders Capital, StepStone Group LP and Wafra Inc. acquired Saber Power Services, LLC from funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. on October 31, 2023. Key members of Saber?s management team will continue to own a significant stake in the Company. Greenbelt secured debt and equity financing to support the acquisition from Blackstone Credit. Justin Stolte and Thomas Verity of Latham & Watkins LLP served as legal advisor to Greenbelt Capital Management L.P. Harris Williams LLC served as financial advisor to Saber Power Services, LLC. Hamed Meshki, Karen Flanagan, Guirgis Nasief, Mike Beinus, Vivek Ratnam and Maria Smith of Kirkland & Ellis LLP acted as sell-side legal advisor and tax advisory to Saber and Oaktree Capital Management, L.P.
