Steelcast Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was INR 1,197.26 million compared to INR 790.03 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 1,197.96 million compared to INR 790.62 million a year ago. Net income was INR 192.81 million compared to INR 85.37 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 9.53 compared to INR 4.22 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 9.53 compared to INR 4.22 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was INR 3,565.14 million compared to INR 2,090.03 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 3,575.16 million compared to INR 2,091.94 million a year ago. Net income was INR 509.8 million compared to INR 236.41 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 25.19 compared to INR 11.68 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 25.19 compared to INR 11.68 a year ago.
Steelcast Limited is an India-based manufacturer of steel and alloy steel castings. The Company specializes in the manufacture of products for mission-critical applications. It is engaged in catering to a host of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for industry sectors, such as earth moving, mining and mineral processing, railway, steel plants, cement, energy, valves and pumps, electro locomotive, aerobridge, oil exploration, shipping, and general engineering. Its products include adapter and tooth point, front axle spindle, components for backhoe loader, steering case, coupler body, box type tooth points, continuous drag chain, track shoe assembly, cooler grate plates, grinding roller, pressure plate, cylinder head, commercial chamber, oil field equipment-body casing, anchor and shank assembly, segment feeder, car shredding hammer, plastic injection mold plate, and gate valves, among others.
