POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (AP) _ Southern Missouri Bancorp Inc. (SMBC) on Monday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $7.7 million.

On a per-share basis, the Poplar Bluff, Missouri-based company said it had profit of 84 cents.

The bank holding company posted revenue of $31 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $23.7 million.

Southern Missouri Bancorp shares have dropped roughly 6% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $36.20, an increase of 3.5% in the last 12 months.
