Sopra Steria has announced that it has joined Euronext's CAC SBT 1.5° index, which includes 38 SBF 120 companies whose emissions reduction targets have been validated as being in line with the 1.5°C objective set by the Paris Agreement.

Launched with the support of Amundi, the CDP and the SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative), the index is designed to encourage the adoption of generalist ESG investment approaches, while focusing strongly on climate change issues.

"As a European Tech player, Sopra Steria made major commitments in 2017 to reduce greenhouse gas emissions linked to its activities, with targets validated by the SBTi," points out Cyril Malargé, CEO of Sopra Steria.
