Solon SE is a Germany-based manufacturer of solar modules and supplier of solar system technology. It operates through two segments: Components and System Technology. The Components segment produces and distributes solar modules, as well monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar cells to wholesalers and installers. The System Technology segment focuses on the construction of turnkey solar power plants on rooftops and on open fields, as well as the distribution of systems to project developers and utility companies. The System Technology segment is also engaged in the development and structuring of complete solar power plant projects and their distribution to financial investors. The Company cooperates with producers of construction materials, architects, energy engineers, and providers of engineering services.
