SOL GROUP: Change of the top management of the SOL Group

The Board of Directors of SOL S.p.A. in today's meeting took note of the decision communicated on the same day by Andrea Monti to access retirement after more than 43 years of work in the Group and therefore to resign, effective from 1st January 2025, from his office as General Director, held since 2013.

The Board of Directors and the Board of Statutory Auditors express their heartfelt thanks to Andrea Monti for having shown, throughout his career within SOL, great commitment, competence and professionalism, principles and moral integrity, capability to stimulate and motivate all the colleagues, expressing a constant leadership and significantly contributing to the success of the Group. In particular, both Managing Directors, Aldo Fumagalli Romario and Marco Annoni, looking back over the past 26 years of their tenure at SOL Group, sharing their responsibility to lead the Group together with Andrea Monti, acknowledged the significant contribution that Andrea Monti had in driving SOL to become one of the largest Groups operating in technical gases and home care with the highest growth and profitability in Europe.

The Board of Directors has also decided to appoint the two actual Deputy General Directors, Daniele Forni and Claudio Garbellini, as General Directors, with effect from 1st January 2025.

The current expertise and responsibilities of Andrea Monti will be assigned to Daniele Forni and Claudio Garbellini, with effect from 1st January 2025, according to the decision that will be taken during a future Board Meeting.

Both Mr. Forni and Mr. Garbellini have deep knowledge and excellent skills in the business areas where SOL Group operates, each boasting more than 20 years long career within SOL S.p.A. and Vivisol S.r.l..
