SOGECLAIR S.A specializes in the design and development of high-tech products for the aeronautics, aerospace, and civil and military transport industries. The group also develops simulation products and software. Sales are distributed by activity as follows:
- aeronautical and spatial engineering (53.2%): engineering and manufacturing of aerostructures, aircraft interiors, systems, etc.;
- design of simulation products and software (46%): complete simulators (for trains, air traffic, and artillery sighting), simulation software (for synthesis environment creation and driver education), multimedia products, virtual models (including infrared vision or radar models for electronic missile detection), etc. The group also develops design and manufacturing activities for complex structural thermoplastic products, metal sub-assemblies, cabin furniture and mechanisms, additive manufacturing systems and cockpit equipment (onboard or simulated);
- technological and industrial consulting services (0.8%).
Net sales break down by market between business aviation (39.9%), commercial aviation (33.4%), automotive (8.9%), railway (8.4%), defense (3.9%), space (3.4%) and other (2.1%).
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: France (50.9%), Europe (19.7%), America (22.6%), Asia/Pacific (6.2%) and other (0.6%).
