Sociedad Minera El Brocal SAA is a Peru-based company engaged in the specialty mining industry. The Company focuses on the extraction, concentration and commercialization of polymetallic ores. Its mineral concentrates comprise zinc, silver, lead and copper. In addition, the Company is active in the exploration and sale of gold. The Company manages the Colquijirca mine and the Huaraucaca concentration plant, which are located in the district of Tinyahuarco, Peru. It operates the Tajo Norte mine, an open pit mineral deposit, and the Marcapunta Norte deposit, un underground mine. It is also involved in the exploration projects, including Marcapunta Oeste and San Gregorio mines. The Company is a subsidiary of Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA.
