Sihayo Gold Limited announced that Malcolm Paterson has resigned from his position as CEO and Managing Director effective from 31 August 2018. Paterson has decided to focus on his other business interests in Indonesia. Paterson has agreed to remain available to the company in a consulting capacity as required.

The board has appointed Timothy Adams as interim CEO. Adams has been working on the Feasibility Study in a consulting capacity for the last several months, so is very familiar with the project. His focus will be to drive and coordinate the work mentioned in the company's announcement of 6 August 2018: Mining schedule, Processing methodologies, Access roads and ramps and Fleet requirements.

He will also be responsible for coordinating the Licensing and permitting activities already underway. Adams has more than twenty years experience working on projects through the feasibility phase in both Australia and South America. He recently successfully project managed the construction of a large civil project in Australia.
