On May 5, 2021, Mr. Guocong Zhou notified Shineco, Inc. of his resignation as Chief Executive Officer of the Company, effective May 5, 2021. Mr. Zhou’s resignation was due to personal reasons and not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matter related to the operations, policies, or practices of the Company. To fill in the vacancy created by Mr. Zhou’s resignation and considering the business development needs of the Company, on May 6, 2021, the Nominating Committee of the board of directors recommended, and the board of directors appointed Ms. Ou Yang as Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
