SEWON E&C CO., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 15,094.05 million compared to KRW 25,927.88 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 109.86 million compared to KRW 3,533.13 million a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was KRW 56,057.66 million compared to KRW 92,331.83 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 7,143.7 million compared to net loss of KRW 953.27 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 50 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of KRW 8 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 50 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of KRW 8 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 50 compared to basic loss per share of KRW 16 a year ago.
Sewon E&C Co Ltd, formerly Sewon Cellontech Co Ltd, is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of process equipment. The Company operates its business through three segments. The Process Equipment Business segment is engaged in the design and manufacture of process equipment such as heat exchangers and reactors, among others. This segmentâs products are used in petrochemicals, oil and gas, power generation, among others. The Power Limb Business segment produces and supplies power limb such as pumps, valves, cylinders and others. This segmentâs products are used in automobile equipment, machine tools and steel equipment, among others. The Other Business segment manufactures glass lining equipment, centrifuges and others.
