Severnoye Morskoye Parokhodstvo OAO (SMP OAO or Northern Shipping Company OJSC) is a Russia-based company active within the marine transportation services for freights. The Company's fleet consists of unitized dry cargo ships, which carry out timber, lumber, pulp-and-paper products, general cargo, bulk cargo, dangerous goods, among others. It also provides transportation in containers, including reefer containers, as well as multi-modal transportation with door-to-door delivery of cargo within Russia and internationally. The Company operates via ports in Arkhangelsk and Saint Petersburg and offers shipping lines services to such international and domestic routes, as: Northern-Western Russia, Baltic, Scandinavian, Europe and Mediterranean ports, as well as Arctic regions.
