5.Cause of occurrence:
A foreign employees in Hwa-ya factory had got a fever and did rapid test
on April 13, and then went to the hospital for PCR testing according
to regulations. When the company received the notice on the same day,
it expanded the rapid test of 410 people in the afternoon. The results
of the rapid test were 24 positive (all foreigners) and 386 negative. On
the evening of April 13, following the instructions of the government, all
227 foreign employees and 14 staff members of the rapid rest operation were
tested by PCR. Currently, according to the government announcement, a total
of 103 colleagues were positive.
6.Countermeasures:
1.All confirmed colleagues have completed isolation, their dormitories and
office areas have been fully disinfected on April 14, and all employees
have also arranged for comprehensive PCR nucleic acid testing on April 14.
2.The company's emergency response team will fully cooperate and follow the
instructions and policies of the Epidemic Command Center and Taoyuan
Health Bureau to prevent the spread of the epidemic.
3.The whole company has entered the three-level epidemic prevention, stop
all employees from moving across factories and offices, stop contact with
visitors and manufacturers, and will cooperate with government epidemic
prevention experts to actively carry out epidemic investigation and
necessary epidemic prevention measures.
4.To enhance the management of migrant dormitories, the company has worked
with agency companies, relevant government units and epidemic prevention
experts to actively improve epidemic prevention operations.
5.Assuming that the quarantine period for foreign employees is two weeks,
it is estimated that the impact on the company's annual production
capacity will be about 3%-5% in 2022.
6.For relevant epidemic investigation information, please refer to the
announcement of the government agency. The company will fully and
actively cooperate with all policies and instructions of the Epidemic
Command Center and Taoyuan Health Bureau.
