SCSK Corporation reported consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2017. For the nine months, the company reported net sales of ¥244,851 million compared to ¥239,047 million a year ago. Operating income was ¥21,565 million compared to ¥23,368 million for the same period a year ago. Ordinary income was ¥23,035 million compared to ¥25,147 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of the parent of ¥25,495 million or ¥245.47 per diluted share compared to ¥20,253 million or ¥194.91 per diluted share for the last year. Profit before taxes was ¥33,740 million compared to ¥25,730 million a year ago. Net cash provided by operating activities was ¥22,616 million compared to ¥22,898 million a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was ¥5,826 million compared to ¥7,231 million a year ago. Purchase of intangible assets was ¥592 million compared to ¥324 million a year ago.
The company revised consolidated earnings guidance for the year ending March 31, 2018. For the year, the company now expects net sales of JPY 340,000 million, operating profit of JPY 34,000 million, ordinary profit of JPY 35,000 million, profit attributable to owners of the parent of JPY 33,500 million or JPY 322.69 per share against previous guidance of net sales of JPY 340,000 million, operating profit of JPY 36,000 million, ordinary profit of JPY 37,000 million, profit attributable to owners of the parent of JPY 33,500 million or JPY 322.69 per share.
