SBI Holdings says to launch tender offer for Morningstar Japan

TOKYO, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Japan's SBI Holdings Inc
said on Friday it would launch a tender offer for
Morningstar Japan KK for 439 yen a share and spending
of 4.39 billion yen ($33.75 million).
Morningstar Japan expressed agreement with SBI's plan in a
separate statement.

SBI Holdings Inc is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the financial business. The Company operates five business segments. The Financial Services segment engages in various finance related businesses, centered on securities related, banking, and insurance businesses in Japan and overseas.
