But the main BSE index <.BSESN> shed more than 1 percent and Wipro fell more than 6 percent after the outsourcer said the World Bank had made the company ineligible for the bank's direct contracts in June 2007.

By 0437 GMT, the 30-share BSE index <.BSESN> was down 1.4 percent at 9,271.25. Satyam was up 49.9 percent at 35.75 rupees, while Wipro was down 5 percent at 238 rupees.
