Samsung introduced in Germany a "mini" version of its Galaxy S3 smartphone, of which it has sold more than 20 million units since its launch earlier this year. The "mini" will have a 4" touch screen and will work with the Android 4.1 operating system. The technology press in the US highlighted that the mini's features are inferior to those of the Galaxy S3 and the iPhone 5: it has less screen resolution, 5MP camera instead of 8 and is incompatible with 4G LTE networks. The price and availability date of the new mini S3 were not reported.
