Sahamit Machinery Public Company Limited ("the Company") would like to clarify the operating results for the three month and six month periods ended June 30, 2022, which have been audited and approved by the Audit Committee. The operating results have shown increased compare to the same period of the previous year as the following details:
The operating results for the three month periods ended June 30, 2022 have shown total revenue of Baht 569.16 million, representing an increase from the same quarter of the previous year by Baht 62.12 million or 12.25 percent and the net profit was Baht 70.48 million, a decrease from the same quarter of the previous year by Baht 6.16 million or 8.04 percent. The increase in revenue mainly resulted from Steel and Heat Treatment segments.
The operating results for the six month periods ended June 30, 2022, the details are as
follows:
The Company achieved sales & service revenue amounting to Baht 1,095.23 million which increased by Baht 113.07 million or 11.51 percent as compared to the same period of the previous year. The increase mainly resulted from the Baht 99.85 million in Steel and Heat Treatment segments and others Baht 18.32 million. On the other hand, Machine Tools and Tooling dropped Baht 6.84 million due to the slowdown in the investment in industrial machinery and equipment in manufacturing sector, as a result of the recent outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Gross profit Baht 344.35 million, an increase of Baht 1.38 million or 0.40 percent from the same period of the previous year. The gross profit did not increase as much as revenues due primarily to the increase in cost of all products and services. There was an increase in price according to the world market price fluctuations, resulting in a net profit of Baht 132.76 million, decrease by Baht 9.91 million or 6.94 percent from the same period last year.
Selling and administrative expenses Baht 188.34 million, decreased from the same period of the previous year by Baht 4.44 million or 2.30 percent.
