RWS : Expansion of RWS Language Solutions

RWS Language Solutions, one of RWS's four specialist divisions, today announces that three further business units will start trading under the division.

Eclipse Translations, RWS Group Deutschland GmbH and RWS Group Schweiz GmbH are already part of the RWS group of companies (see notes), but until now, have continued to trade under their existing brands.

This announcement follows the re-launch of the RWS brand, website and divisional structure last October to better reflect the new shape of the business and its client offering following a number of successful acquisitions.

Eclipse Translations, a leading provider of translation and interpreting solutions, and RWS Group Deutschland and RWS Group Schweiz, specialists in technical translation and terminology solutions, will greatly enhance the existing services and geographic reach of the division.

For the last 21 years, Eclipse Translations, based in Northumberland, has helped companies, particularly in the chemical, manufacturing and defence sectors, to export globally with its range of high-quality language services. RWS acquired Eclipse Translations in 2005.

RWS Group Deutschland, based in Berlin, was formed in 2013 following the acquisition of Polymedia (1998) and Document Service Center (2008) by RWS. Specialists in technical translations, the company serves leading automotive and energy companies, among others, based in Germany.
