For the period, the company reported net sales of ¥6,271,203,000, operating income of ¥890,751,000, profit before income taxes of ¥496,357,000, profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥242,280,000, earnings per share - diluted of ¥43.29 against net sales of ¥3,913,079,000, operating income of ¥848,047,000, profit before income taxes of ¥471,581,000, profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥212,477,000, earnings per share - diluted of ¥38.59.
For the year ending December 31, 2016, the company expects net sales of ¥7,740 million, operating income of ¥1,531 million, ordinary income of ¥1,147 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of ¥742 million, and earnings per share of ¥137.
RS Technologies Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in the silicon wafer recycling business. The Company operates in three business segments. The Wafer segment is engaged in the recycling, process and sale of silicon wafers for semiconductors. The Prime Silicon Wafer Manufacture and Sale segment is engaged in the process and sale of silicon wafers for products including prime silicon wafers. The Semiconductor Production Equipment Purchase and Sale segment is engaged in sale of second-hand semiconductor related machinery and consumable goods to China.
