Rosneft has received the hydrocarbon exploration and production license to the Ichemminskoye field in Krasnoyarsk territory. The license is valid until January 20, 2034. Ichemminskoye, which Rosneft discovered in 2012, has recoverable reserves totaling 6.6 million tonnes of C1+C2 oil.

It will be developed by Rosneft subsidiary CJSC Vankorneft, which currently produces oil and gas at the Vankor field and is also the operator for development of other fields in the Vankor cluster: Lodochnoye, Suzun and Tagul. Under the Ichemminskoye licensing agreement, a first exploration well must be completed within four years and pilot production must be launched within seven years from the date of license registration.
