News › FEED design of Jackdaw wellhead platform for Shell UK
Rosetti Marino Group has recently been awarded by Shell UK a contract to perform the competitive FEED design of Jackdaw wellhead platform to be installed in the United Kingdom Continental Shelf.

Jackdaw is an unmanned platform with a jacket and a deck. The project will be executed by Rosetti Marino's engineering companies Basis Engineering and Teconin Milan, in cooperation with Genesis in London.

For Rosetti Marino Group, Jackdaw is extremely strategic as it confirms the experience previously done on West Franklin and Elgin B (with Total UK) in very similar HP-HT environment.

The scope of work includes the preparation of all documents needed to assist Shell on the technical and commercial evaluation preparatory for the following EPC stage.

Rosetti Marino is currently working on Tolmount platform for Premier Oil as well as on Tyra's LQ for Total, both with final destination the North Sea that will be delivered on time during 2020 and 2021.

The Jackdaw award confirms our full capability to be competitive in the UKCS region and our firm intention to maintain a genuine attitude towards our Clients.

The FEED study is already in progress and will be completed at the end of this year.
