Roper Technologies, Inc. announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2020. For the fourth quarter, the company announced sales was USD 1,505.3 million compared to USD 1,394.8 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 380.7 million compared to USD 398.4 million a year ago. Net income was USD 255.8 million compared to USD 871.1 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.44 compared to USD 8.37 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.41 compared to USD 8.28 a year ago. For the full year, sales was USD 5,527.1 million compared to USD 5,366.8 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 1,431.1 million compared to USD 1,498.4 million a year ago. Net income was USD 949.7 million compared to USD 1,767.9 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 9.08 compared to USD 17.02 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 8.98 compared to USD 16.82 a year ago.
