"We ended the year with our best operational, financial, and development results. Generated 52.5 GWh to the national grid and made net profits of Rs. 473.25 million. This was also our heaviest investment year, with over Rs 2 billion investments in new projects despite the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and macroeconomic conditions. "

Resus Energy PLC is a Sri Lanka-based renewable energy investment and development company. The Company's segments include hydropower and solar power. The Company has eight hydro power plants with operational capacity of around 15.1 megawatts (MW) located in Kandy, Kegalle and Nuwara-Eliya. Its hydropower projects include Giddawa Mini Hydro Power Project, Upper Magalganga Mini Hydro Power Project, Upper Agra Oya Mini Hydro Power Project, Gomale Oya Mini Hydro Power Project, Moragaha Oya Mini Hydro Power Project, Ranwala Oya Mini Hydro Power Project, Upper Huluganga Mini Hydro Power Project and Karapalagama Mini Hydro Power Project. The solar power segment operates two solar power plants with an operational capacity of around eight MW. Its solar projects include Resus Solar Project Siyambalanduwa and Resus Solar Power Project - Mahiyanganaya. Its hydropower stations and solar photovoltaic (PV) stations collectively generate more than 60-gigawatt hour (GWh) annual dispatchable energy.
